KHALID KAMIL, an innovative and visionary strategist with experiences in legal, strategic planning, philanthropy, impact assessment, organisation diagnosis, need assessment, project management and organisation development. His journey as a social business strategist is influenced and aligned by elements of philanthropy, responsibility and sustainability. He held a Project Management Development Professional (Project DPro) Certification accredited by APMG International, United Kingdom and being certified as the PMD Pro Certified Coach for Asia Pacific.

 

Since 2016, he has been trained by INTRAC (the International NGO Training and Research Centre) of Oxford, Humentum of US, PM4NGOs of Oxford, Ghadan of Jeddah and Optimize of Istanbul in international NGO management, capacity building, strategic planning for development sector, portfolio, project and program management, social enterprise and social franchise, made him a well-verse expert in the practical and theoretical of the development sector.

 

He advocates for a more responsible social and development sustainability in every activity or point of interest by the change makers. His expertise has benefited more than 60 organisations: social businesses and enterprises, civil society organisations in Malaysia, United Kingdom, Kyrgyzstan, Tanzania, Kenya, Indonesia, Turkey, Palestine, Lebanon, Dubai, Kuwait, Egypt and Qatar.

 

Since 2019, he has been actively involved with Malaysia House of Parliament for it’s All Party Parliamentary Group on Sustainable Development Goals (APPGM SDG) in localizing SDG to the grassroot. As part of the secretariat, the group also being involved in advocating SDG agenda to the sectors of the nation.
