KHALID, an innovative and visionary strategist with experiences in legal, strategic planning, philanthropy, fundraising & financial sustainability, project management and organisation development. His journey as a social business strategist is influenced and aligned by elements of philanthropy, responsibility and sustainability. He held a Project Management Development Professional (PMD Pro) Certification accredited by APMG International, United Kingdom and being certified as the PMD Pro Certified Coach for Asia Pacific.
He advocates for a more responsible social and development sustainability in every activity or point of interest by the change maker. His expertise has benefited more than 50 organisations: social businesses and enterprises, civil society organisations from Malaysia, United Kingdom, Kyrgyzstan, Tanzania, Kenya, Indonesia, Turkey, Palestine, Lebanon, Dubai, Kuwait, Egypt and Qatar.
Vice-Chairman I
NURAZAH, a creative social innovator, graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has about 10 years of experience in idea experiential and idea maximization for marketing and sales purposes.
The founder of Scholar’s Ink Publication, a social enterprise entity focusing on initiating and activating social initiatives by the change makers for the targeted beneficiaries. Creating sustainable activities and projects to the selected beneficiaries is just what she loves to do. Her social empowerment project for Rohingya refugee has given her another milestone in contributing to the social development creativity.
Vice-Chairman II
NURUL, an enthusiastic and detailed strategist by function, governance professional, chartered secretary and legal personnel by profession, who specialised in the third sector and private sector. She is an Associate to the Governance Institute, locally known as the Malaysia Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. After completing her South Australian Matriculation in 2009, she reads Law at Bond University, Gold Coast, Australia on a scholarship.
Following her career twist in 2016, she has made herself as a certified Project Management Development Professional accredited by APMG International, United Kingdom. She further challenged herself to take up the responsibilities to lead the strategic direction and governance of an international grant provider, to reach the benefits in education and empowerment of third sector locally, to its beneficiaries located in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and Central Asia. She advises a portfolio of purpose driven organisations for sustainable development.
She is the Country Champion for Malaysia since 2021 for the global initiative of the International Financial Reporting for Non-Profit Organisation (IFR4NPO); an initiative to develop the world’s first internationally applicable Financial Reporting guidance for non-profit organisations (NPOs), aiming to improve the clarity and consistency of NPOs financial reports, resulting in greater credibility and trust in the not-for-profit sector globally.
Advisory, Consultancy & Services Officer
SYAHID, is an Islamic finance expert with extensive experience in managing academic and professional programmes. Actively involved in developing professional learning content and coordinating training under collaboration at the local and international levels for both academic and professional programmes in the Maldives, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines, Senegal, and Kenya. In 2018, he spearheaded the development of the Action Based Learning programme for postgraduate degrees in INCEIF.
Apart from that, he was also involved in content development of professional and academic modules in ethics and governance, fundamentals of takaful and Islamic banking and law and compliance. He is also involved in coordinating and participating in consultancy projects focusing on public policies, Islamic banking, takaful, ethics and corporate governance. His research paper for Masters in Comparative Law is focusing on laws and policies in various jurisdictions including Malaysia, Singapore, and the United States of America. In 2018 he participated in coordinating a research project in the Philippines under the UNDP programme for the financial inclusion of Muslim society in the Island of Mindanao.
Training, Research & Development Officer
SAZLIE, is a tech savvy and efficiency focused fundraising changemaker who leverages on data analytics in stepping and retargeting NGOs fundraising effort. His working experience extends for more than 10 years in areas such as project management, non-profit fundraising and capacity building with skills in crucial softwares such as Ms Excel, Basic Python, and Google Analytics & Social Media Analytics.
Utilising his skills, he led MyCARE fundraising team for 5 years using improved method and strategy to achieve donations target by digging deeply into data analytics as needed by IR4.0 and using it to change traditional ways of doing fundraising to more data driven ways. He thus leverages more on social media strategy such as effective copywriting, attractive audio-visual, and analytics in decision making.
People & Culture Officer
SULFAN, a Project DPro Certified Trainer, is a capacity development practitioner with more than 10 years of experience having previously worked in literacy education as one of the founders of the education information workers association in Indonesia. He experienced his career switch when he dived into working in the world of learning, coaching and human resources.
Geared with his extensive experience, he is always interested and passionate to advancing the world of the sector and education. As of now, he has already facilitated the development of more than 150 education and community development consultants, assisted micro-entrepreneurs at early-stage business through coaching and as trainers on various topics including project management and capacity building.
Creative Senior Executive
HAAFIZ studied Economics at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) but decided that he would like to pursue his lifelong passion in graphic design. Haafiz worked as a graphic designer for six years before set his new life journey as a freelance logo creator for the next 5 years.
In 2021, Haafiz was offered to join Philandure after his impressive win in the logo design contest for MyAqsa Defenders, a coalition of youth based NGOs for Palestine issues advocacy. His role at Philandure involves monitoring all graphics-related & media-related tasks as well as coordinating Philandure’s creative team.
Strategic Communication & Partnership Associate
PUTERI is a strong advocate of effective sustainable development strategies. Having been involved in several development projects in Southeast Asia covering quality education, environmental sustainability, poverty alleviation and economic empowerment, she furthers her academic journey in international development with University of London under the direction of The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) after completing her degree at The University of Melbourne, Australia.
Active in youth empowerment, she has held several positions championing the cause including Perdana Fellow to the Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia, Chairperson of MASCA Victoria and Vice President of ASEAN Students’ Council of Australia. In 2018, she visited the Global Hub Malaysia for a youth engagement session with the World Bank Vice President of East Asia and Pacific. She was also invited to be a speaker during The Malaysia SDG Youth Summit 2021, sharing the platform with other young changemakers in Malaysia.
Currently serving as the Strategic Communication and Partnership Associate at Philandure, she is keen to collaborate with every individuals and organizations with the same objectives, to catalyze change and sustaining impact.
Business Development & Growth Executive
YAZID graduated from the University of Warwick with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Alongside his undergraduate studies, he worked as a business analyst at a start-up in London. Upon returning to Malaysia, he joined the Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center (SIDREC) as an Operations Officer.
He then joined Philandure as a Business Development and Growth Executive in 2022. His role at Philandure includes identifying & securing any relevant business opportunites, as well as to set any growth strategies for the organisation. Yazid is also responsible in the development of Philandure’s product marketing tools with the coordination of the brand directors and product officers to ensure sustainable revenue for the company.
Advisory & Consultancy Associate
AMALINA holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology from the same institution with a specialisation in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Amalina is also an avid volunteer. She has volunteered in Vietnam as part of the Yayasan Sukarelawan as well as in Cambodia as part of the Harmoni Mission. She is currently working at Philandure as an Advisory & Consultancy Management Trainee.
Advisory & Consultancy Management Trainee
ANIS holds a bachelor’s degree in Counselling from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. Whilst studying, Anis is heavily involved in volunteerism. One of the volunteering activities that she participated in was the Green Summer Volunteer Camp in Vietnam.
After graduating, she joined Philandure as an Advisory and Consultancy Junior Associate. Her role at Philandure is to provide advisory and consultancy services to clients, particularly those who are enrolled in the Philanthropy Navigator program.
Training, Reseach & Development Associate
FAIQAH is a graduate in Bachelor of Human Sciences in English Language and Literature from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
In 2020, Faiqah joined Philandure as an intern before accepting an offer to join Philandure as a full-time employee in 2021. As a Talent Development Executive, her role is to develop the relevant modules for capacity building as well as oversee international certifications’ training & exams. She also works on the development, expansion and scheduling of Philandure’s online class modules for the third sector.
Philandure Training Course Development Consultant
AINIA holds a master’s in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Calabria. She had also graduated from The University of Indonesia with a BA in Philosophy.
After multiple working stints in areas like research and marketing, she then joined Philandure as a Research and Development (R&D) Specialist. Her role at Philandure is to conduct daily research and module development for Philandure’s training programs. She is also heavily involved in the monitoring of Philandure’s DPro project.
Project Management Junior Associate
JANNAH joined Philandure as a fresh graduate, having graduated in BSc Social Work Management from the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
She is an active volunteer during her university years having involved in Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa as volunteer community for various projects including rainwater harvesting system, hydroponics and multimedia education in Mukah, Sarawak. As a Project Management Junior Associate, she assists in the handling and management of events and programs under Philandure as well as by its clients.
Videographer & Editor
SYUHADA graduated in Multimedia Technology from the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). During her undergraduate studies, she interned at ML Studios a a video editor. She then joined Cinta Gaza Malaysia as a video editor and videographer, before being offered a role as a Videographer cum Video Editor at Philandure.
As part of her role, she works on all video-related materials at Philandure, including the production and handling of webinars and live content. She also assists other departments with various tasks.
Administration & Management Associate
ZAHIRAH graduated with a diploma in Textile Technology from the Universiti Teknology Malaysia (UiTM) Shah Alam. She then furthered her studies at the same institution in BSc Textile Technology. Zahirah is an active participant in volunteer programmes throughout her studies at university.
After graduation, Zahirah underwent on the job training with Serba Dinamik through the Ekuinas’ 8-month training programme. She then joined Philandure as an Administration Management Junior Associate where she handles all administrative-related matters at the company.
Human Resource & Administrative Executive
SHAZWANI graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UiTM) Seremban 3 with a Bachelor Degree in Administrative Science. Shazwani is also active in volunteering and has joined various volunteering programs whilst at university.
After graduation, she worked as an administrative executive at a private school for nearly 4 years. She then joined Philandure as a Human Resource & Administrative Executive where she is responsible for all matters related to Philandure’s talent management and development.
Secretarial & Administration Junior Associate
ATIKA holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from the Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UMP). She has had a several years of experience in corporate secretarial and administration.
As the Secretarial and Administration Junior Associate at Philandure, Atika is responsible in providing secretarial services to a portfolio of clients. She also oversees the coordination and scheduling of meeting and appointments in regards to Philandure’s management team.
Finance Junior Associate
IZZUDIN graduated with a Diploma in Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Melaka. Whilst studying, he worked in various roles to gain precious working experience.
He joined Philandure as an Administration, Finance, and People, Culture & Talent Development Assistant. Holding multiple roles at Philandure, his responsibilities include ensuring the proper safekeeping of files, accurate recording of finance-related matters.
